The lemon bar cookie is my favorite! Lemon lovers unite! This cookie is like a sunny day inside your mouth and out! The cookie dough has just the right amount of tanginess balanced with sweetness. The powdered sugar makes it feel a little like a powdered doughnut and definitely makes a mess, but it didn’t stop me from devouring the cookie. It is pleasantly softer than some of the other cookies. This is my go to. If I could change one thing it would be the removal of the powdered sugar. The cookie is sweet enough without the extra dusting.
These cookies were okay. They’re very sweet and I think the addition of the chips pushes it too far. Would prefer it if there was more lemon to balance it out. I wouldn’t eat it again.
I took a shot and ordered these through Goldbelly and I am 100% glad I did! These cookies are flavorful, soft, with bright notes of lemon and taste their best after you warm them up for 10 seconds (don’t miss this step you won’t be disappointed). If you are a lemon lover and are on the fence just buy them :)
